Contact enquiries

What we use and why

Information

We process the information you provide, such as your name, business email address, company context and message. A reply address and enough information about the enquiry are needed for us to respond; your name is optional.

Purpose and legal basis

We use the information to answer your enquiry, assess fit, prepare a proposal and manage the related correspondence. For an ordinary B2B enquiry, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in receiving and responding to business enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Where processing is objectively necessary for steps you request before entering into a contract to which you are a party, Article 6(1)(b) applies.

Website operation

Technical and security data

The hosting, security and form systems may process technical information such as an IP address, request time, requested page, browser or device information and diagnostic events. We use this data to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the website, based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable service.

Optional analytics or other non-essential measurement is used only where it is enabled and a valid legal basis or consent applies.

Access and service providers

Who may process the information

Within DigiMetrics, access is limited to people who need the information for the purposes above. We may use providers for website hosting and security, form and email delivery, mailbox operation, IT maintenance and backups, acting under our instructions. We disclose information to advisers or public authorities only where there is a lawful reason.

Some provider services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we rely on an applicable European Commission adequacy decision or safeguards under GDPR Article 46, such as standard contractual clauses. Further information can be requested using the contact address above.

Retention

We keep data only as long as it remains necessary.

We keep enquiry data while handling the enquiry. After it is closed, we retain it only for as long as necessary under our retention practice, taking account of reasonable follow-up, whether a client relationship follows, applicable record-keeping duties and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. We then delete or anonymise it; backup copies expire through the normal backup cycle.

Your rights

Access, correction and control

Subject to the GDPR conditions, you may request access to, correction or erasure of your data, restriction of processing and data portability where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at the email above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia: aki.ee.

DigiMetrics does not use contact-form data for solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
